Mission Statement

Serving the Antelope Valley since 1957, it is the mission of The Antelope Valley Board of Trade “to engage in maintaining and promoting diverse business and industry, quality infrastructures and a strong legislative voice for the benefit of its members and the Greater Antelope Valley.”

Goals & Objectives

Goals and Objectives to Achieve the AVBOT Mission: 

• Aggressively expand & maintain job opportunities and promote a healthy business climate in the Antelope Valley. 
• Support the creation of an efficient and functional transportation system of highways, rail, and airports. 
• Monitor legislative issues of concern to the Antelope Valley and maintain a strong legislative lobby to represent valley concerns at the local, state, and national levels. 
• Provide direction and leadership to regional environmental issues, such as water supply, flood control, and air quality. 
• Promote a quality workforce through the development of a well-rounded education system. 
• Market the Antelope Valley to attract business and industries throughout the state, nation, and world. 
• Build and maintain positive relationships with all Antelope Valley business and government agencies. 
• Promote the values and benefits of membership in the Antelope Valley Board of Trade to ensure the financial stability necessary for accomplishing our mission.
