The fifth annual navigating change Award will be presented at the Board of trade’s Antelope Valley Business Outlook conference, Friday, Feb. 27, 2015 at the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds in Lancaster.
The award was first presented in 2011 to civilian aerospace pioneer Burt Rutan. In 2012 the recipient was scott ehrlich, private sector partner in the city of Lancaster’s the BLVd. renovation. In 2013 the recognition went to stu Witt, general manager of Mojave Air & space Port.
The 2014 navigating change Award was presented to members past and present of Lancaster high school’s Robotics team 399. The navigating change Award was created to recognize a person or business organization whose spirit of innovation, creativity and entrepreneurial approach combined to make a measurable impact on the Greater Antelope Valley, by placing the Antelope Valley on the map. “This person or business would be considered a change agent who is at the helm, in the driver’s seat, the pilot’s seat, and navigating change,” the nomination criteria states.
Written nominations, including a summary of the nominee’s accomplishments and contact information, will be reviewed by the Business Outlook conference committee and forwarded with the committee’s recommendations to the AVBOt executive committee for final selection.
Nominations may be delivered or mailed to the Board of trade office at 41319 12th st. West, suite 104, Palmdale, cA 93551, or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org For additional information call the Board of trade (661) 947-9033.
